Yoyakim memberi emas dan perak itu kepada Firaun, tetapi ia menarik pajak dari negeri supaya dapat memberi uang itu, sesuai dengan titah Firaun. Ia menagih emas dan perak itu dari rakyat negeri, dari setiap orang menurut jumlah ketetapan pajaknya, untuk memberikannya kepada Firaun Nekho.
